OPENINGS
Please check the top of the main page for available appointment times. Note that this DOES NOT apply to appointments for WPATH-Based Gender Affirming Surgery Assessment (GASA), as these are regularly scheduled slots kept separate from therapy appointments.
In the rare event that a spot opens up for a new patient, appointment slots are available only on a weekly basis. I have a few dedicated bi-weekly appointment times that are exclusively offered to well-established clients.
WAITLISTS
Due to the high demand, I no longer maintain a waitlist. However, if a spot becomes available, it will always be posted at the top of the main page. You can also find a list of two-spirit, trans, and nonbinary (2STNB)-affirming providers here. Please note that I only offer appointment slots before noon.
LATENESS, NO SHOWS, & CANCELLATION POLICY
Therapy is a commitment to yourself and to a therapeutic relationship grounded in mutual respect for each other’s time. If you arrive late, your appointment will still conclude at the scheduled time to ensure that the schedule for other patients is maintained.
Telehealth sessions will be canceled and result in missed session fees after 11 minutes of not presenting to the session.
There is a charge of $100 for appointments canceled with less than 48 hrs' notice or no-show missed sessions, irrespective of the reason for the absence. This is an out-of-pocket cost not covered by insurance.
I do not keep therapy slots reserved on my calendar after three consecutive missed appointments, a pattern of missed appointments, or one missed intake appointment.
I do not write letters for mental health support animals.
Non-Therapy Ways To Connect
Patients are not eligible for non-therapy services; however, they are encouraged to refer others to these services at their discretion. Non-therapy services may include, but are not limited to:
• Consultation (students & professionals)
• Workshops • Speaking Engagements
• Academic Opportunities
• All other non-therapy inquiries
A Note About Social Media
While you are welcome to add me, due to the importance of your confidentiality and minimizing dual relationships, I do not accept friend or contact requests from current or former patients on any social networking sites. I believe that adding patients as friends or contacts compromises your confidentiality and privacy. It blurs the boundaries of our current therapeutic relationship or ability to resume therapy in the future and your access to healthy therapeutic support will always be my priority.
