OPENINGS

Please check the black banner at the top of the page for currently open appointment times. Please note this DOES NOT apply to appointments for WPATH-Based Gender Affirming Surgery Assessment (GASA), as these are regularly held slots kept separately from therapy appointments.

In the rare event that a spot for a new patient does open up, appointment slots are weekly only. I have a few dedicated bi-weekly appointments times that are only offered to well-established clients.

WAITLISTS

Due to the volume of need, I no longer offer a waitlist, however, in the rare event that a spot does open up it will always be posted above. Please note that I only offer appointment spots before noon.

LATENESS, NO SHOWS, & CANCELLATION POLICY

Therapy is a commitment to yourself and to a therapy relationship built on mutual respect of one another’s time. If you are late, your appointment will still end on time in order to maintain the schedule for other patients.

  • Telehealth sessions will be cancelled and result in missed session fee after 11 minutes of not presenting to the session.

  • There is a charge of $100 for appointments cancelled with less than 48 hrs notice or no show missed sessions irrespective of the reason for the absence. This is an out-of-pocket cost not covered by insurance.

  • I do not continue holding therapy spots on my calendar after three consecutively missed appointments or one missed intake appointment.

I do not write letters for mental health support animals.

Non-Therapy Ways To Connect

delknight@delknightpsyd.com

Patient are not eligible for non-therapy services, however, are welcome to refer others to these services at their own free will and discretion. Non-therapy services may include, but are not limited to:

• Consultation (students & professionals)

A Note About Social Media

While you are welcome to add me, due to the importance of your confidentiality and minimizing dual relationships, I do not accept friend or contact requests from current or former patients on any social networking sites. I believe that adding patients as friends or contacts compromises your confidentiality and privacy. It blurs the boundaries of our current therapeutic relationship or ability to resume therapy in the future and your access to healthy therapeutic support will always be my priority.

Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.
