Family & Friends
This page is a growing list of resources for family, friends, and coworkers of two-spirit, transgender, and nonbinary (2STNB) people. Too often 2STNB folxs are put in the role of teacher, defender, caretaker for the feelings and reactions of their friends, family, and coworkers. If you were directed to this page by someone in your life who is 2STNB then they are asking you to do some work to educate yourself and not ask them to do the work for you. It can be mentally and physically exhausting to do this work over and over again for the many people 2STNB people have in their lives.

PFLAG Connects: Communities
Provides a safe, virtual, moderated space where people with shared experiences can connect each month. PFLAG National’s current communities gather people of Latino, Black/African American, and Asian American and Pacific Islander backgrounds to gain support, ask questions, and learn from others who have been through similar experiences. These meetings are catered to those who are parents/family members of LGBTQ+ individuals, though we also welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community who are Latino, Black, or AAPI.
